Andrew Craig, AKA Rhapsodius returns to Stratford Summer Music with a programme of songs drawn from the Civil Rights Era. August 28, 2023 will be the 60th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s iconic “I Have A Dream” speech. Music was a powerful tool used in the pursuit of freedom, justice, and equality, and in advance of the anniversary date, Rhapsodius celebrates this historic moment with some of the greatest soul, jazz, rhythm & blues, and Gospel music of the period. There will even be songs to sing along with! The programme is suitable for people of all ages and stages. Come and experience the sound of freedom!
