Stratford Summer Music


The eleventh Over The Top Gala Dinner will be held at 6:30 pm on Friday night, November 2, at the Paul D. Fleck Marquee. (55 Queen Street, Stratford at the Stratford Festival) This "Fun-Raiser" celebrates another successful season for Stratford Summer Music and paves the way for the excitement of 2019. 

The entertainment for the evening will be John Novacek on piano, with special guest, Mark Fewer (our new Artistic Director) on violin! Novacek is an American pianist who is the winner of the Leschetizky and Joanna Hodges international piano competitions. He plays solo recitals and concerts. As a chamber musician and accompanist he has worked with such artists as Yo-Yo Ma, Joshua Bell, and Leila Josefowicz. Novacek has premiered the works of John Adams, John Harbison, Jennifer Higdon, and John Zorn and he has composed his own works, including Hog WildCockles, and Melancholy Drag. He has performed at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and Wigmore Hall. Novacek has released efforts such as Kindred Spirits (2008), Stone and Steel, and Antheil: Sonatas for Violin and Piano (2011).

Be part of the buzz. Tickets are $150 with a $100 charitable tax receipt. Ticket includes 3 course dinner, champagne reception, silent and live auction and musical performance. Over The Top 11 will be an evening not to be missed!
