Praised for his creamy, bright, smooth voice, Canadian baritone Phillip Addis has established himself as a leading interpreter of opera, concert, and recital with his spell-binding, daring, yet sensitive performances throughout Canada, the United States, Europe and the Far East.
Emily Hamper has earned an excellent reputation for her exceptional skills as a vocal coach and accompanist. With an international career spanning twenty years, she has worked as a rehearsal pianist, coach, and assistant conductor for many prominent opera companies and organizations.
Together, this talented husband/wife duo are the Artistic Directors of the Stratford Summer Music Vocal Academy, an intensive study program for professionally-trained singers and for pianists with a keen interest in pursuing careers as coach/accompanists.
